[ Quietly, she turns her head just enough that she can look in his direction again when he first speaks up. She's actually really expecting him to jump on the chance to change the subject. She's anticipating an excuse to leave any second, not because she thinks poorly of him but because she knows she just made this whole thing incredibly awkward.
